Keysha & Clifton | Atlanta Wedding Photography

You've probably seen Keysha & Clifton's engagement photos. They are one of the most fun, easy-going, and camera friendly couples I have worked with. Nah, camera friendly is not really appropriate for them, I would say more camera-lovers! And how fun is that for a photographer!

Here is Cliff, adoring my camera :)

I love this moment with his parents. They gave him his grandfather's cuff-links as a gift and he was very touched...

In Diva style (as she truly is), Keysha arrived quite late and went straight to get dressed.

The girls were truly happy to help get their friend ready to walk down the aisle.

And her mom was quite emotional when the moment arrived.

I just adore this image of Keysha as she turns the corner to walk down the aisle and makes eye contact with Clifton.

And how he looks at her! Awwww.

A gorgeous fall day in a spectacular venue in Atlanta with amazing details and wonderful people made this such a fantastic wedding!

Both ceremony and reception took place at Cator Woolford Gardens.

I love the stone staircase...

The girls looked fabulous in chocolate brown dresses. The flowers from Tulip were the perfect accent. So beautiful!

I love this image. The bride & groom did a tequila shot before walking down the aisle! That's one thing they did on their first date, so they thought it would be a fun touch. And it was!

I love being a part of Rehearsal Dinners. It is like a more intimate look at the wedding... with the people that are closer to the couple, the anticipation of what is to come the following day and emotions running free.

Kindra & James picked to have their at Highland Bakery in the Old Fourth Ward. A perfect place, that represented exactly who they are.

It was a gorgeous evening and people enjoyed sitting outside too.

These were amazing. Huge variety, everyone loved them :)

Elliot & Mommy | Atlanta Portrait Photography

Just a few days before little sister Clara was born, my friend Christina and her cute toddler Elliot had a mommy & me (and Clara-in-belly) session.

I am totally in love with these images of them together... Elliot was super shy to begin with but warmed up after a while and had me completely hypnotized with his smile and cuteness.

I really love these...

I love how he tries to "climb" on mommy!

Then we went outside for some Elliot photos... he loved the pumpkin by the front door...

Loot at me, I look like a big brother already!

Awww, this boy is too cute!

Cameron is Four Months! | Atlanta Portrait Photography

After doing his newborn session a few months ago, now at four months old, Cameron looks like a real Big Boy already :)

He is a very sweet and smiley boy...

Cydney Turned Two! | Atlanta Event Photography

Wow, I can't believed I did not get to blog this fabulous event! This year has been so busy that I can barely keep up with the blog. Thanks for being patient and checking in every once in a while.

I am committed to making up for slacking so badly and will post several sessions back to back for the next few days!

I realize I have been posting a lot of weddings... so here is some event and portrait photography coming up.

First, Cydney's Second Birthday. A fabulous event designed and coordinated by the fantastic Michelle Gainey of Lemiga Events. The theme was "Sesame Street" and the decor incorporated primary colors and the show's characters.

As you all well know I am not good with words, so I'll go straight to the goodies :)

First we went to the park for a small portrait session with Cydney.

So how cute is she!

Then some of the fantastic elements of the party...

I loved these amazing invitations by Luxe Expressions

And the wonderful gifts that each kid received...

How cool are these centerpieces. And check out the custom runner by I Do Linens.

The candy buffet by Peachtree Treats and sweet stuff framed by Ballonacy decor.

Cute little lunch bags for each kid incorporating custom tags with Cydney's own monogram.

And the yummy cake and cup cakes by Sugarplum Visions.

Then there was the fun time... starting with some face painting...

And some group games.

Followed by the surprise appearance of Elmo and Big Bird!

We were not quite sure how Cydney was going to react to these giant characters...
But as you can see, she was a cuddly monster herself :)

Katie & Steve | Ritz Carlton Lodge Wedding Photography

This could be the sappiest blog post ever... but I'll refrain myself. It is just that Steve & Katie are so much in love and their families and friends were so supportive and loving that no matter what or where they had gotten married, it would have been ridiculously fabulous.

It feels always like such a blessing to be witness to such a time in my client's lives.

But enough blurb... we all know that is not my strong suit :)

And let's see some of their images.

Just one shot of the rehearsal dinner which took place at The Landing at Reynolds Plantation. Beautiful setting, don't you think?

The reception and ceremony took place at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation. The girls got ready in one of the suites.

The guys were getting ready on a suite on the opposite side of the building.
I love how they are all trying to figure out how to tie their bow-ties.

Katie & Steve decided to meet before the ceremony. This was the most emotional and intimate moment ever. They were both so excited, happy and anxious to see each other.

Steve gave Katie a card and they stopped and read it right there, together... with tears in their eyes (and mine).

Then we took some photos of just the two of them...

Right before the ceremony Katie got her veil on...

The ceremony was by the lake, on the lawn of the Lodge.

Their first dance was part romantic...

... and part fun.

Nothing like the precision with which service comes out.

And they had Moxie as their band for lots of entertainment.

Later in the evening they gave away sunglasses for the party crowd.

I love sparklers!

Such a neat exit :)

Victoria & Steve | A Peachtree Club Wedding

On a gorgeous late summer day, Victoria & Steve started their new life together as husband and wife. What an honor it was to be a part of it and witness the love, emotion and fun that everyone experienced.

Their ceremony and reception, both took place at the magnificent The Peachtree Club. Their new terrace is truly magical and we loved working there.

The Inspired Bride

A few weeks ago we had our staple event of the year at StudioWed. It was a gorgeous day and we had many brides and some grooms visit us for a day of fun filled inspiration. We took over several venues at The Brickworks, where the studio is located and had vendor displays, tablescapes, a fantastic flower market where couples could learn about flowers and pick their favorites, a wonderful fashion show, our fantastic band Livin' Large playing live, fabulous food and a great group of people to enjoy the afternoon and feel inspired.

Jessica & Darryl | Atlanta Wedding Photography

Jessica & Darryl got married this summer at Salem Bible Church in Atlanta.
They had a beautiful ceremony in a church filled with people that truly supported them. After a quick ride through Piedmont Park for photos, they went on to enjoy the reception at the Renaissance Atlanta Hotel. Family and friends, good food, fun music... it was all there for them and their guests to enjoy non-stop. And we are truly happy to have been a part of it!

Lindsay & Evan were married this summer at Ahavath Achim Synagogue in Atlanta Georgia.
They had a small intimate wedding and held their reception at Alan Avery Art Gallery in Buckhead.

They are a really adorable couple and they have come to visit us at many studio events since then.

Keysha is all style and attitude and Clifton goes along for the ride with total enthusiasm.

He was actually the one to discover this little gem where we shot the session, and I loved it!

Natalie & Allen - An Atlanta Wedding

Natalie and Allen got married a few weeks ago at Peachtree Road UMC. It was a beautiful formal affair with an evening ceremony and a gorgeous reception.

Natalie's dress was absolutely gorgeous!

Jill & Steve's Engagement Session

Jill & Steve will be getting married later this summer here in Atlanta. We went out a few weeks ago for their engagement session and I loved to have the opportunity to get to know them better and see how they are together.

This is one of the reasons I love doing engagements sessions. It provides me the chance to see how each couple relates with each other, how they interact, how they are together. It is also a great opportunity for all of us to work together and generate that extra comfort level for the wedding day.

We started the session in town...

But shortly after we started we got hit by a torrential and totally unexpected rain.
So we found a spot where we could continue working under cover.

We had planned to finish the session at Piedmont Park to get some images with the background of the city, so we rescheduled to do that another day, but first we decided to go to the park and capture the reality of the day.

And we came back another day...

And had lots of fun.

I could not believe when Jill took off running running up that hill, and Steve followed... It was over 90 degrees out there!

I love this quiet moment at the end of the day...

Thanks to both of you for a wonderful time. I just can't wait until the wedding day!

Mysteena & Josh's Watercolor Wedding

I always say I love my job... the thing is, it is not a job. It is an opportunity to be with great people, in great places and in return, give our clients the gift of capturing those memories. What a blessing, isn't it?

This time around, Mysteena & Josh took us to the wonderful Watercolor Resort, in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Needless to say that with the horrible oil disaster they had been on their toes about their plans, but fortunately things were perfect.

Both the rehearsal and wedding days were super casual events. very relaxed and fun, just like the bride & groom. A very intimate, romantic and emotional gathering which we feel very lucky to have been invited to be a part of.

And this is the very happy groom. He was very anxious actually and it was hard for him to be still for some portraits :)

Brittany & Tom's Country Club Wedding

Brittany & Tom got married in May at Eagle's Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Georgia. It was a gorgeous day, perfect for a country club wedding.

An Atlanta Engagement Session

A few weeks ago we went into town to celebrate Jessica and Kevin's upcoming wedding with some fun engagement photos.

I always ask couples to pick places that are meaningful to them and they wanted to start at the new Six Feet Under in the Midtown West area because they hang out there a lot...

We hang out in the rooftop terrace...

And in the small front patio.

... and then headed over to Piedmont Park.

I love how much fun they had...

It was a very enjoyable day, we laughed a lot and Kevin & Jessica were really great to work with. I just can't wait until their fabulous wedding at The Mansion on Peachtree in October where there will be lots of fabulous StudioWed vendors with the amazing coordination of Michelle Gainey from Lemiga Events.

Heather & Brian got married a couple of weeks ago just south of Atlanta, at Glendalough Manor.
It was a gorgeous Spring day for their beautiful outdoors ceremony.

This couple has been super relaxed and easy going to work with. They trusted us and believed in our work and we feel very grateful for that.

As usual, I could go on and on about how we love what we do and how much fun we have while doing it, but you all know by now that words are not my strong suit, so why even try... especially when you have this gorgeous bride :-)

Mini Me

A few weeks ago we were working at a wedding and met this little young lady that seemed to have a total love affair with photography --and the photographers!

It all started when I spotted her playing with the disposable cameras they had on the tables and took her picture.

She saw me grab the camera and she grabbed hers and did the same thing I did. See how she is holding her camera in vertical position, just like me!

After that she apparently started following me everywhere and mimicking what I did.

It took me a little while to figure it out, but after bumping into her here and there it dawned on me and I could not stop laughing. Rich saw her too and took a quick snap...

* See the position of the feet, similar to mine.

After following me for a while she decided it was time to "work with Rich".

Now see how mini-me does exactly what Rich does :)

Too funny... she followed us for quite a long time. I would die to see some of the pictures she got!

She was a total ham and we got into conversation several times also. Dad said she really loves to play with the camera all the time, so she seems to be pretty serious about it!

What can I say, she made our day!

Danielle & Stuart's Atlanta Wedding

I met Danielle a couple of years ago when she was a bridesmaid at a wedding we photographer. I immediately fell in love with her sparkly and fun personality and was thrilled when she called us to book her own wedding photography with us!

She and Stuart got married a few weeks ago at Villa Christina in Atlanta, GA. Danielle not only looked gorgeous, she looked so happy. And Stuart was looking handsome as usual and was very emotional too.

The ceremony was outside in the garden and the cocktail hour was in the patio downstairs. They had an acoustic guitar player and two men hand rolling cigars for the guests.

The reception looked beautiful, with flowers designed by Tulip and lots of wonderful details most of which were done by Danielle and her mother.

It was a beautiful event but the icing on the cake was truly the exit. They had a New Orleans style second line parade, with parasols and handkerchiefs that people waved around as they walked down towards the fabulous red card awaiting them downstairs, dancing to the tune of "When The Saints Go Marching In". Fabulous and really fun!

Welcome Lewis!

After Jill's maternity session earlier this year, Lewis arrived late in February.

I finally got to meet him few days back. He is so cute and I was really impressed with how alert he is at such a young age. Big sisters Isabelle and Alexandra are thrilled with the new baby --well, little 3-year-0ld Allie is thrilled only at times but she does love to hold him and be a real big sister now!--

Colleen & Brian - A Spring Wedding in Atlanta

Colleen & Brian got married a few weeks back on a gorgeous Spring day in Atlanta.

The ladies got ready at Three 13 Salon in Marietta and the guys gathered at Transfiguration Catholic Church where the ceremony took place in the early afternoon.

After the ceremony the wedding party and parents took a super fun ride on a trolley to Piedmont Park and made their way across the park to Greystone, where the reception took place.

Mason at the park

A few weeks ago I photographed little Mason. Mason's big brother, Ryan was at this same park 2 years ago and mom wanted the same setting so that we can create another wall portrait to place next to Ryan's.

I don't need to say much about this little boy... his images depict how totally cute he is, but let me tell you, he only sat down for about 5 seconds at a time! He had us on the go constantly and as usual with toddlers, was done pretty quick :)

Laura & Keith got married a few weeks ago at Dunaway Gardens in Newnan, GA. In the low 70's and sunny, it was just perfect for their garden wedding.

Laura was gorgeous and I was totally in love with her birdcage veil!

And Keith was looking pretty good himself :)

This is one of my favorite images, right after they were married.

They had some garden games set up so guests could enjoy the wonderful location.

It was a really wonderful day, everyone seemed to be enjoying the wonderful weather and location and the amazing food as well.

Laura & Keith are getting married in just a few weeks. With Keith's crazy schedule being in the military and Laura's 5-day a week school obligations, plus an 18 month-old at home, it was pretty amazing that they even found time for an engagement session!

But they did. I honestly was not sure what to expect for this one, and I have to say that it was amazing. They just got it right away, they totally blended well together and got in the groove of the session. I really enjoyed it and I think they look ridiculously good together!

How I love when I photograph little clients through their first years of life... it is such an honor to be called back and invited into my client's lives to capture the memories of their children as they grow.

Here again is Eddie. He was actually my very first post on this blog about two years ago. And now here he is, a little 2 year-old man :)

This time we went to a local park in Alpharetta and let him run around and play.

Awwwwwww.....

Julia's Bat Mitzvah -- Part 1

Julia's Bat Mitzvah was almost a week ago and there will be images posted soon about the grand affair.

However, first things first. Several weeks back, I did a small portrait session with Julia so that she could have a portrait signing mat at her party.

I was curious as to how Julia would feel in front of the camera, 12 been quite an awkward age. Well, let me tell you, she rocked it! Of course I knew that was the case once she told me that American Top Model and Project Runway are two of her favorite shows.

It was actually a super fun session and I love the results.

Shanna & Jared are married!

Jared + Shanna = A ridiculously wonderful and fun wedding in the North Carolina mountains.

There is so much to tell about Shanna, Jared and their wedding weekend.

They are both totally fun.
They are very family oriented and have a ton of great friends.
They are definitely social butterflies.
They live life to its fullest.
They always go off on a ski weekend with a group of friends the last weekend in January.
Shanna envisioned a white wedding.

Now, since the venue they picked for their event does not really get that much snow, the plan was to head to the slopes on Sunday for some fun in the snow.

Well... it seems like when Shanna wishes...

Almost 10 inches of snow on Friday.
Lots of guests stranded on the road (everyone made it safely at least by Saturday's wedding day!)
A canceled Rehearsal.
A relocated Rehearsal Dinner (since nobody could get out of the Inn).

And yet, this was a fabulous wedding weekend for all.

A Family Session

I started photographing the Patterson family earlier last year, when Caleb was barely one and the twins were in the belly.

Then we did a small session for the twin's birth announcement and at the end of the year we did a longer family session for holiday cards and their annual book.

It is always a treat to work with this family. They are fun and it is amazing to see how relaxed they are considering they have a toddler and baby twins!

Just a few days before she turned 30, Natasha decided to strike a few poses and we went out to have some fun.

She really digged this and after the first few shots completely relaxed and played in front of the camera.

Katherine & Steve are Married!

Katherine and Steve had a very intimate a beautiful wedding on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon in Atlanta, GA.

The ceremony was at the Cathedral of Christ the King and the reception at Anthony's.

It was a truly wonderful affair. With many of Katherine's guests coming from her native Germany and her dad giving an extremely emotional toast in spite of his not so easy command of English. The man was outstanding! We also loved Steve's brother reading his toast from his iPhone and some of the many dance moves family & friends showed off on the dance floor :)

I have been waiting to photograph this little lady for soooo long. Saylor is the baby of Christa and Matthew, whose wedding we photographed last year. I actually also photographed them while Christa was expecting so I just could not wait to finally get the honor to work with their little one.

They all live in Statesboro, in Southern Georgia and so do Matthew's parents who came along for the ride. I felt extremely honored that they all drove up to Atlanta a few weeks ago just for their family session.

Of course we did an extended session, with outfit changes, different location, grandparents and all.

It was very special for me to spend time with them. I feel very close to this family, they have all been wonderful to me and extremely supportive of our business. I feel they are not only lifelong clients but great friends too!

OK, enough of my ramblings.... here is the good stuff :)

These are Casey, Stephanie, Kylie and Mackenzie. Casey is an amateur photographer, and a serious one at that! So when he asked me to photograph his family I was very flattered and excited.

We decided to spend some time at Autrey Mill and allow the girls to have some fun while being photographed. It was actually a very cute session.

Kylie loved to be in front of the camera...

...while Mackenzie was more interested in seeing what interesting things she could stick in her mouth :)

Martha-Collins & Andrew - Engaged!

Martha-Collins is a sorority sister and friend of two brides we have photographed in the last year. She and her fiancé Andrew are both from Macon, GA but have been going to school in different cities for the past several years. Andrew is now on his first year of law school at UGA and he does not have much free time... so we all trotted over to Athens to do their engagement session a few weekends ago.

We have never met officially, although Rich and I perfectly well remembered Marta-Collins as the girl with the brightest "Oh-My-God!" expression as she caught the bouquet at Beth Ann's wedding this past July -- Little did she know she would actually get engaged just a few days after that!

So we decided to meet for coffee and chat for a few minutes and then headed on to the UGA campus to have some fun. And we can attest, we did. They really played and enjoyed the day and gave us many opportunities for great candid images and fabulous captured moments.

Considering it was supposed to rain pretty badly that day I would say we got really lucky and had a most wonderful day!

Taylor & Travis are married!

Taylor and Travis got married in Atlanta on a very rainy day.

However, the weather did not dampen their spirits. They were both in a great mood, focused on the real meaning on the day, and to have their families and friends with them.

Taylor got ready at home with her "girls" and some mimosas. She was enjoying each moment and relaxed...

...until she stepped outside and saw the limo waiting to take her to the church and it all hit home.

They guys got ready at the home of Travis' best man (who is also his uncle) and it looks like they had some fun.

Taylor looks gorgeous!

The ceremony was at the beautiful Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

I love this image of them walking out that Rich took from the balcony.

What can I say... they were just so happy and it showed!

Now, one of my favorite things... check out the bride's shoes (her "something blue") waiting outside the church for the limo to take them to the reception.

The reception was at the Piedmont Garden Tent, which looked absolutely amazing. Check out the fabulous arrangements created by Shoshona of Shosho Designs.

Like I said, they did not mind the rain a bit...

Julia Turns Four!

I love kid's birthdays. They are filled with excitement, fun and happy moments. I love to capture the expressions and different moments and all the bright colors.

This was Julia's fourth birthday. The theme was kitty-cat and mom organized a small get together with Julia's closest friends. They did crafts, played games, run around the yard chasing balloons and of course, ate cake!

This was so much fun! Every kid got a yarn of wool and they had to kitty-walk to the other side of the yard unrolling the yarn just like cats playing...

A few weeks ago I participated in a super fun photo shoot in the West Midtown Design District. It was part of a big pull to promote the area which will include launching a map and new website and some other fun things.

For me it was a way to depart from my usual thing in photography and also to meet some wonderful "neighbors".

We shot at several locations in the district and used the gorgeous new collection from Erica Angeline, G.Gilbert's fall line and the men looked fabulous in Ken Barber.

A few days back I was invited by Gretchen to photograph her beautiful boys.

Gretchen and I used to work together at Turner Entertainment Group a very long time ago. We reconnected a few years back when I returned to Atlanta, and then became Facebook friends.

She saw some of my work and asked me to come photograph her family which was a great honor. We spent a nice and busy time playing and making bubbles and running around. I hope the kids slept well that night!

This is Tommy who is 3. He and dad had just returned from the grocery store and Tommy would not let go of his plum. I love his completely carefree smile in this image.

Welcome Maria Jose!

This session came to be in the most interesting way. As many of you know, I am originally from Argentina. My husband Rich and I were in Buenos Aires a few months back and we did an improptu session for the family of a good old friend of mine.

They were very impressed and happy with their images so when a friend and business associate of him here in Atlanta had a newborn baby a few weeks back, him and his associates (who are also good friends) decided to send him a Gift Certificate to Andrea Taylor Studio. It was just cool to see how from there to here I can still get referrals :)

That is how I met Pepe, Adriana and Maria Jose, the newborn little girl.

Maria Jose is just 4 weeks old in these images... but you really would not believe it seeing how alert she is and how she already holds her head up!. Adriana and Pepe were really a riot to work with. They were up for anything and everything and made it really fun and easy.

Beth Ann & William are married!

Two weeks ago Rich and I headed down to Amelia Island, Florida to be spectacular Amelia Island Plantation, to cover the wedding celebration of Beth Ann & Will.

All I am going to say is that it has been a true honor and complete pleasure to work with this couple, their families and friends. What an amazing group of people and what a treat to be able to cover three days of events.

Of course I could not even begin to pick images to blog, so you will have to go check out the slideshow here.

But I did pick just a few from the wedding day to share. Images that I felt attracted to for different reasons...

The dress was spectacular.

I love Beth Ann's classic beauty. Here she is putting on the beautiful pearl earrings she had just received from her groom.

I absolutely love this image. Beth Ann running back into the church before Will arrives.

I was only going to post about the bride & groom because there are so many beautiful family moments to share... but I cannot leave out this image of the bride's grandmother as she sees the bride in her gown for the very first time! It truly makes my heart skip a beat.

OK, and I have to recognize the handsome groom who was a super sport all weekend long!

Extended Family Session

I have been photographing Lily & Lucy since they were babies... it has been such a joy to see them grow into these beautiful little girls who are now almost 4 years-old!

Their mom Amy, wanted to capitalize on a visit from her brother and his family who are currently living in South Africa, and together with her parents, do an extended family portrait session.

We went to the park in Avondale Estates and of course let the kids play a little bit after we got some posed shots done :)

Welcome Jackson

This past week I had the honor to meet Jackson at barely a week old!

He is a cute little baby, super relaxed and happy who did not even flinch at his big brother's extremely intense hugs :)

It was really nice to see this family again as I had photographed Carter, the now big brother when he was 6 days old... and I almost fainted when I saw him so grown up!

I love these next two images... they are just so tender!

We were really impressed to get this one of Carter and Jackson to be honest, but Carter was fabulous and avoided squeezing his baby brother too hard :)

And I personally think this next one is hilarious and sweet at the same time!

An Engagement Session with Mysteena & Josh

You know, this job is just fabulous. You meet amazing people; you get to be a part of some of the most important days in their lives. You are right there; documenting what is becoming their new family history... sharing in the moments and the emotions... and you also get to work in such different environments, locations and spaces.

This coming weekend for example, we will be shooting a wedding in Amelia Island with 450 guests and 14 bridesmaids!

Then, next June, we will be photographing Mysteena & Josh's wedding, in Watercolor, Florida with just 50 guests, at dawn on the beach.

I just love the variety in everything we do.

These are the images from for Josh & Mysteena's engagement session. We went out on a nice and hot Atlanta afternoon and spent some time "playing" out at a couple of different locations. They actually introduced us to McDaniel Farm Park and we loved it!

They have two of the sweetest, best behaved dogs I have ever met! They were great to work with and I am so glad they came along!

Jack is One!

Jack is an Andrea Taylor Studio old timer... and he just turned one!

But I have been working with his family since before he was born. I photographed his parents wedding, and then him in the belly, and then again when he was born... It is one of the great pleasures of this job to see those little ones grow and become, like in this case, little boys :)

I was impressed at how much Jack enjoyed the session, always playing, having fun and smiling away. You go Jack!

Taylor & Travis - The Engagement Session

In the middle of this typical summer, we ventured outside into Atlanta's steamy weather to photograph T&T's engagement session. I actually had been booked by Travis and have never met Taylor, so I was really excited to finally meet her. I thought we would have to spend some time breaking the ice but that did not take long!

What can I say; I am truly lucky to have such amazing clients that continue to make my job so fun and exciting. I loved the great disposition Taylor & Travis had. But my favorite thing is the great connection they have... they look super cute together!

Cydney Turns One!

This past weekend we had the honor of photographing Cydney's beautiful birthday party.
The event was coordinated and designed by the amaizng Michelle Gainey from Lemiga Events at the Clara Meer Dock & Visitor center in Piedmont Park.

It was a beautiful day and kids and adutls enjoyed this fun-filled day alike.

There were many fantastic details and elements at this event and it is impossible to include it all in just one post. But I wanted to start with an overview of the party.

The color scheme of the event was navy and fuchsia... matching Cydney's beautiful dress.

Here are Cydney and mom Natasha arriving in style.

The receiving table, where guests could leave good wishes for Cydney and sign her very own football jersey :)

An overview of the fabulous inside space... for all the scoop and details about how this space was created I suggest you visit Lemiga's blog. I know Michelle will be much better at explaining all the in and outs of the decor and space.

The gorgeous centerpieces check out the blueberies!

Michelle put together the most amazing gift bags for kids...

This outside terrace was especially for adults, with games, a Wii station and the coolest couches and decor.

I love how the blue and pink drapes frame the space in the oustide terrace...

where daddy had some fun time with his little girl :)

There was a caricature artist on the terrace and most guests made sure to enjoy getting their cool caricatures done!

This is an overview of the kid's area., right by the lake.

Some cool play time with the most humongous bubbles you can imagine.

They also had additional entertainment with magic and balloon art!

And of course, inside the castle bouncer.

This is the tent where the kids had lunch and worked on crafts...

And then it was time for cake!

Of course Cydney had her very own cupcake!

well... all kids had cupcakes and they really loved them :)

I will be making another post about this event soon with some more images of this stunning event and some information on all the amazing vendors!

My Friends The Dominguez

My husband Rich and I spent some time in Argentina in April. It has been so busy that I never got a chance to blog anything about it so I thought I would start today. I'll post several times since we did a lot of stuff with different people and in different places...

The images below are from the Dominguez Family... Ale was my best friend in college and I met his wife Vero also in my early 20's... looong time ago :) - Rich and I spent a day at their home in Pilar --a suburb of Buenos Aires and had a fabulous time. And, of course, I had to take some photographs of their beautiful family!

This is the front of their home... the green on the front door is a "Welcome" sign the kids had put up for us (in English - so cute!)

This is a wide view of the back of the house weith a beutiful deck that we enjoyed most of the day.

Ashley & William's Engagement Session

This past weekend I shot Ashley & William's engagement session at William father's home at Lake Oconee. It was a beautiful setting and I loved that Ashley had prepared several changes of outfits and they were both ready for some fun!

We shot mainly around the house, and then William's father took us for a short boat ride to capture some of the nice light that was reflecting on the lake.

I loved working with my soon to be married couples before the wedding. It is a great opportunity to get to know each other and get a feel for how we all work together.

This was definitely a lot of fun and I loved that they included their dogs, Conway & Chloe :)

Ashley & Tom's Wedding

The weather has been quite stormy the past few weeks here in Atlanta. But in spite of it all, Ashley & Tom had a most wonderful wedding at the Piedmont Garden tent last weekend.

They decided to see each other before the ceremony and I love that moment when they first meet all dressed up and ready.

Ashley looked gorgeous and Tom seemed just so proud.

This is coming back from the park where we did a few portraits with the skyline behind.

Even when the skies smiled at us and showed some blue and even a few rays of sun, they decided to keep the ceremony under the tent where it was gorgeous and really pleasant.

But luckily, the guests could enjoy cocktail hour in the garden.

It was a truly beautiful setting. The tent, illuminated with lanterns and amazing table décor, with the colors changing as the sun set and gave way to a beautiful night at Piedmont Park.
